How do I deposit funds with AOPay?


AOPay is a trusted payment provider in South Africa. There are several options you can choose from when using AOpay to deposit such as Bank Transfer, Capitec Pay, and Instant EFT. 

AOPay also offers mobile money deposits, in Ghana, Kenya and Nigeria. Here, we will go through the South African solutions. 

First, please choose the trading account into which you wish to deposit.

Next, select the AOPay payment method (AOEFT), and enter the amount you wish to deposit. The minimum required deposit is ZAR50.


A window will then pop up enabling you to choose from either Instant EFT or Bank Transfer.



For Instant EFT, please select your bank from the available options and click Submit. Then, enter your account number/phone/SA ID and enter your online banking credentials.

For a Bank Transfer, click on the bank that you hold an account with.


You will then be given AOPAY’s banking details (as seen below) Log in to your internet banking app, and insert these banking details. Please ensure that you include the reference (your Trade Nation trading account) to avoid any delays in allocating your deposit.




Once the deposit is approved, you will be directed to your Trade Nation account, and the funds will be applied to your trading account.
